My number one priority in all I do is to generate significant, meaningful results for my clients.

Everything else is secondary to this overarching aim, which has helped me evolve into a respected PR consultant. Whether it is national press coverage, broadcast campaigns, social networking proposals, video production or event organisation, results are all that matter to me.

Achieve better results

I boast a wealth of PR experience in the automotive industry

This is thanks to my long-standing relationship with Bridgestone and Firestone, the world-famous tyre brands. I have helped manage Bridgestone’s UK PR strategy and outputs since 2013 and my role has continued to evolve over the years.

Product launches, sponsorship activations, photography, videography, industry comment, amplification of sales campaigns, social networking support and award-winning copywriting have all been responsibilities, not to mention hitting strict annual KPI targets.

Other clients include the ETB and Britannia automotive retail networks and Autogem, the leading aftermarket equipment supplier.

The strength of my professional relationships is the one result I am most proud of.

About me

My working life began as a journalist at the Bridgnorth Journal in Shropshire, when front page leads would often revolve around flowers and flood water.

Roll the clock forward 20 years and I’d like to think my career has flourished like the Britain in Bloom award entries I used to cover as novice reporter. And if there have been choppy waters at any time, then I’ve been able to utilise my professional skillset to overcome them!

It was this grounding that brought me to the world of self-employment where, after a happy and lengthy time as MD of Small Man Media, I am working for myself, quite literally!

Since qualifying as an NVQ level 4 journalist, I moved into the world of PR in 2005 and gained invaluable experience as a pr consultant, both in-house and at leading Midlands agencies.

It was this grounding that brought me to the world of self-employment where, after a happy and lengthy time as MD of Small Man Media, I am working for myself, quite literally!

Outside of work and I can usually be found trying to find a way with words, whether it is a manuscript for a book submission, a blog about my beloved football team or my head being buried in a book!

Results matter

Results can be measured in a number of ways, be it equivalent advertising value on press coverage, the size of audience, the readership of an online newsletter or an industry award in a trophy cabinet.

An enriched automotive contacts book has assisted in achieving significant PR results in trade and consumer media titles, as has some creative campaigns and carefully managed media events. Innovative and eye-catching award submissions have also helped Bridgestone to win a series of NTDA tyre industry awards in recent times.

A well designed newsletter, catalogue or even humble business card can be worth its weight in gold

This is why I offer a dedicated design service to meet any business’s need. A number of successes in this area include official invitations for product launches, events, advertisements and web banners for use in leading publications.
